Obverse description Blue-violet note with a central vignette of two allegorical female figures in classical dress, seated together, rendered in intaglio engraving against an intricate guilloche underprint. The bank title BANCO OCCIDENTAL arches across the top, with serial numbers in red at upper left and right, and the date 1º de Enero de 1929 at lower right below San Salvador.
