Obverse description The Austrian Imperial Crown rendered in high relief occupies the central field, depicted in three-quarter frontal view with its characteristic mitre-shaped arches, orb and cross finial, jewelled bands, and pendilia visible at the base. Beneath the crown, the mint mark letter 'M' (Milan) appears in the lower field. The circular legend 'REGNO LOMBARDO VENETO' runs along the upper periphery, with a stop at the conclusion, identifying the issuing Kingdom of Lombardy-Venetia.
