Reverse description The reverse presents a left-facing draped bust of Urraca, the indigenous Ngäbe chieftain who resisted Spanish conquest in the early sixteenth century. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail, depicting his long flowing hair bound by a headband. The legend '· URRACA ·' is inscribed in the upper field above the bust, flanked by dot stops, with the remainder of the field left plain.
