| Aanvullende informatie |
Uruguay's centésimo coinage of this period was produced almost entirely at the Hamburg Mint (Hamburgische Münze), a common arrangement for South American republics that lacked domestic minting infrastructure in the early twentieth century. Production continued across several decades with minimal design change, interrupted but not halted by the disruptions of World War I, which forced temporary sourcing adjustments for several Latin American clients of European mints.
The 35-year span of this type masks significant gaps in actual striking years rather than continuous annual production.
