| 备注 |
Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo is a small municipality in the Beira Alta region, near the Spanish border, and like hundreds of Portuguese câmaras municipais during the currency shortage years of 1917–1921, it resorted to issuing its own cédulas — emergency fractional notes to fill the void left by hoarded bronze and silver coinage. The Tipografia da Empresa Veritas in Guarda was a regional commercial printer with no specialist banknote capability; these were essentially typeset tickets, not engraved notes.
The MA#916 reference places this within the Marques de Azevedo catalogue of Portuguese local emergency issues, a series remarkable more for its geographic breadth than any individual rarity.
