| Obverse description | Printed in orange-brown on plain paper, the obverse carries a double-ruled rectangular border enclosing two allegorical figures in a classical vignette: a male figure at left, resting and holding a tool, and a female figure at right, seated on a wheeled cart and holding a long staff, both rendered in a letterpress style evoking industry and commerce. A central cartouche bears the denomination inscription "VALE 1 cent." with a black overprinted serial number above. The issuer's name appears in a banner across the top, and a series letter designation "S.-B" is printed at the lower right. |
