| 正面描述 | Central device depicts a stylized Phrygian cap (liberty cap) set upon a cannon barrel, rendered in low relief with bold radiating sunrays emanating from the central motif and filling the field. The circumferential legend REPUBLICA MEXICANA arcs across the upper periphery, while the date 1915 appears in the lower exergual area. The overall design follows the Revolutionary-era emergency coinage style, with a strongly utilitarian and primitively struck appearance typical of Constitutionalist military issues. |

The Army of the North (Ejército del Norte) coinage from Jalisco belongs to the chaotic Revolutionary period when central monetary authority had effectively collapsed and regional commanders issued their own currency to pay troops and purchase supplies. These provincial emissions were authorized under military necessity, not federal mandate, and many circulated only within the territory a given faction actually controlled.
KM#675 is among the more modestly produced of the Revolutionary coppers. Jalisco's issues from 1915 saw limited geographic reach as Carrancista forces consolidated control through the region that same year.
