Reverse description A left-facing draped bust of an indigenous woman representing Liberty fills the central field, her hair elaborately braided and adorned with a feathered diadem inscribed LIBERTAD. The engraver's initials HP appear in small characters below the truncation. Four six-pointed stars punctuate the circular legend, which is divided into the denomination UN CENTAVO to the left and the weight 3 GRAMOS to the right. The date appears in the lower exergual area beneath the portrait.
