| 备注 |
Valley Arapahoe, Inc. was a dude ranch operating near Westcliffe in the Wet Mountain Valley of Colorado — one of dozens of Western guest ranches that issued their own scrip during the mid-twentieth century to keep guest spending on-site. These ranch tokens and paper chits functioned as a closed-loop currency: redeemable at the ranch canteen, trading post, or activity desk, and worthless everywhere else. The practice discouraged guests from wandering into town and kept the vacation economy self-contained.
One cent denominations in ranch scrip are uncommon — most operations issued higher values for practical reasons.
