备注

Peterson's Foodtown was a regional grocery chain operating in the Pacific Northwest, and like many independent supermarkets of the period, it issued small-denomination paper scrip to manage change-making at the register — a common workaround when cent coins were both bulky and chronically undersupplied in retail cash drawers. The dating range of 1960–1979 is almost certainly an attribution window rather than a confirmed span; scrip of this type was rarely dated, and catalog ranges typically reflect when the issuer is known to have been operating.

Local merchant scrip from Washington State grocers rarely survived in quantity. Most pieces went through tills daily until they disintegrated.
