| Obverse description | Central design featuring a boat anchor overlaid with the prow of a sloop, the two motifs combined to form a bold composite device occupying the majority of the field. The central group is flanked and enclosed by a wreath of laurel branches that curves along the inner edge of the coin, terminating at the base with a tied bow. The overall composition is deeply struck with fine relief detail throughout. |
