Obverse description The obverse features the crowned coat of arms of the Netherlands Antilles centered in the field, depicting a quartered shield bearing six stars arranged in two groups of three, surmounted by a royal crown. Flanking the shield are two small stylized island silhouettes. A ribbon below the shield bears the motto LIBERTATE UNINAMUS. The circular legend NEDERLANDSE ANTILLEN runs along the upper periphery, with the date 1969 prominently placed at the bottom of the field.

Reverse description The reverse displays a large numeral '1' dominating the central field, with the denomination legend CENT inscribed in bold letters beneath it. Six five-pointed stars are arranged in an arc around the upper and lateral periphery of the field. A small stylized olive or laurel branch motif appears at the base of the design, below the denomination lettering, lending a refined finish to the otherwise austere layout.
