Additional information

Pattern coinage for the Netherlands Antilles was produced in limited quantities as part of the process of evaluating proposed designs or compositions before committing to full production runs. The CNO reference places this squarely within the documented trial-piece literature, but surviving examples are rarely encountered outside institutional collections. The Scholt catalogue remains the primary reference for Netherlands Antilles patterns, and attribution without it is unreliable.
