| Obverse description | The Jamaican coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield charged with five golden pineapples arranged in a cross pattern, surmounted by a Jamaican crocodile atop a royal helm with mantling. The shield is supported on the dexter by a female Taino figure and on the sinister by a male Taino figure, each adorned in traditional dress. A scroll beneath the supporters bears the national motto in the legend OUT OF MANY ONE PEOPLE.
