Obverse description Central field features the Danish Royal coat of arms — a quartered shield bearing three passant lions accompanied by nine hearts — surmounted by the Danish Royal crown with cross finial. The escutcheon is rendered in fine relief with bold detailing on the lions' manes and musculature. A circular legend in Latin script arcs around the upper periphery, reading FREDERIK VII KONGE AF DANMARK. The design is framed by a continuous beaded border.

Reverse description Central field displays the numeral '1' above the word CENT in bold capital letters, enclosed within an open wreath composed of oak branches with acorns and lobed leaves, tied at the base with a ribbon.
