| Obverse description | Central field features the Danish Royal coat of arms — a quartered shield bearing three passant lions accompanied by nine hearts — surmounted by the Danish Royal crown with cross finial. The escutcheon is rendered in fine relief with bold detailing on the lions' manes and musculature. A circular legend in Latin script arcs around the upper periphery, reading FREDERIK VII KONGE AF DANMARK. The design is framed by a continuous beaded border. |
