| Obverse description | The octagonal field is filled entirely with raised lettering in the form of an advertising text promoting a 1-cent credit offer from First Trust & Savings Co. of Cleveland, Ohio, valid before July 1st, 1918. A large central '1¢' denomination appears in bold relief, and the lower portion bears a cursive facsimile signature of R.S. Crawford, Treasurer. The entire piece is bordered by a beaded rim. |
