Obverse description The full Coat of Arms of Jamaica occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield charged with five pineapples, supported by a Taino man to the right bearing a spear and a Taino woman to the left holding a basket of fruit, both in traditional dress. A crocodile is displayed as the crest above a royal helmet and mantling. A scroll below the shield bears the national motto in raised lettering. The country name JAMAICA arcs along the upper legend, the date appears at the bottom, and the Franklin Mint privy mark is positioned below the shield.
