| Reverse description | Vibrant fully coloured depiction in the Aztec artistic tradition, centred on a large ornately decorated sugar skull in the lower field, rendered with swirling patterns and feathered adornments. Above it rises a stacked totem-like composition featuring a fearsome masked deity visage, a central solar disc with radiating rays, and a skull-masked figure at the apex, all enclosed within a circular sun-stone motif. Flanking serpents or dragon-like creatures with spread wings fill the lateral fields in red and green, while geometric Mesoamerican glyphs and scrollwork populate the background throughout. The overall design alludes to the Aztec cosmological concept of the Fifth Sun, executed in rich polychrome colour printing against a dark ground. |
