| Obverse description | Central field bears a crowned French royal shield charged with three fleurs-de-lys, rendered in the Gothic heraldic style typical of late 15th-century French coinage. The crown surmounting the shield is depicted in relief above the escutcheon. A Latin legend encircles the periphery, identifying the issuing monarch. The flan is irregular, characteristic of hammered production, with some weakness in the strike around the margins. |

| Reverse description | A bold anchor cross occupies the central field, its four arms extending nearly to the coin's edge and dividing the legend into four segments. The cross terminals are plain, and the design is typical of the feudal Cavallo coinage issued under French administration in the Kingdom of Naples. The surrounding Latin legend references the feudal lord Pietro Giovanni Cantelmo, Duke of Sora and Alvito, under whose local authority the coin was struck. The flan is irregular and the strike shows characteristic unevenness of hammered coinage of the period. |
