| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse presents the four-character reign title inscription 治平通寶 (Zhiping Tongbao) rendered in Clerical script (lishu), disposed in cruciform arrangement around the central square perforation, reading top-to-bottom and right-to-left. The characters occupy the four cardinal fields between the square central hole and the inner rim, with each ideogram cast in bold, well-defined strokes characteristic of the lishu style. A raised inner rim borders the square perforation, and a raised outer rim encircles the coin's periphery, both serving to protect the inscription from wear. The flat field between the legend and the outer rim is unadorned. |
