正面描述 Cast bronze cash coin bearing the four-character reign title legend 貞祐通寶 (Zhenyou Tongbao) arranged in regular script (kaishu) reading top-to-bottom, right-to-left around a central square perforation. The characters are rendered in crisp, bold strokes within a plain, undecorated field. A raised rim encircles the outer edge, and an inner raised square border surrounds the central hole. The overall style is consistent with Jin dynasty cast coinage of the early 13th century.

附加信息

The Zhenyou reign (1213–1216) coincided with one of the most catastrophic periods in Jin dynasty history — Genghis Khan's forces had breached the Great Wall and were systematically dismantling Jin's northern defenses, sacking dozens of cities and forcing Emperor Xuanzong to abandon Zhongdu (modern Beijing) in 1214. Coinage continued, but the administrative machinery producing it was contracting rapidly under Mongol military pressure.

Hartill 18.69 is among the more straightforward Jin cash types, with no particularly notorious varieties, though surviving examples in clean condition are somewhat scarcer than their Mingchang or Taihe counterparts given the shortened and chaotic reign.
