| Obverse description | Four Chinese ideograms reading clockwise around a central round perforation, each character positioned in one of the four cardinal fields separated by a raised linear cross dividing the coin face into quadrants. The legend reads Zhenglong Yuanbao, with the second and fourth characters rendered in simplified form, a characteristic feature of locally produced tin imitations cast on the Malay Peninsula. The field surface shows the slightly irregular texture typical of cast tin coinage. No inner or outer rim decoration is present beyond the plain borders flanking the legend characters. |
