| Beschrijving voorzijde | Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged in cruciform fashion around a central square perforation, read in the traditional manner: top, bottom, right, left — rendering the legend 裕民通寶 (Yumin Tongbao). Each character occupies one quadrant of the coin face, boldly cast in raised relief against a flat, unadorned field. A plain raised rim encircles the design. The square central hole is framed by a raised inner border. The execution is characteristic of the cast bronze cash coinage produced under the short-lived Fujian fiefdom of Geng Jingzhong during the Revolt of the Three Feudatories. |
