The characters display the fluid, connected brushstroke qualities characteristic of xingshu calligraphy, distinguishing this type from the regular-script (kaishu) issues of the same reign. A plain outer raised rim encircles the field. The coin exhibits heavy iron oxidation and surface encrustation consistent with prolonged burial, with the legend remaining legible despite significant corrosion. |
