| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse presents four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu), arranged in the traditional cross pattern around a central square perforation. The inscription is read top-to-bottom and right-to-left: 雍 (top), 通 (right), 正 (bottom), 寶 (left), forming the reign title legend 雍正通寶 (Yongzheng Tongbao). The characters are rendered in bold, well-defined relief within the plain flat field, bounded by an inner square rim surrounding the hole and an outer circular rim. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse bears two Manchu script characters in vertical orientation, one on each side of the central square perforation, reading right to left as 'Boo-he' (ᠪᠣᠣ ᡥᠣ᠋), identifying the issuing mint. The Manchu characters are cast in bold relief against the flat field, flanking the square hole, with the composition enclosed between a raised inner square rim and an outer circular rim. The field shows the typical plain, unadorned surface characteristic of Qing dynasty cast cash coinage. |
