| Obverse description | Cast iron cash coin bearing four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu), arranged in clockwise reading order around a central square perforation: 應 (Ying, top), 通 (Tong, right), 寶 (Bao, bottom), and 感 (Gan, left), forming the reign era legend Yinggan Tongbao. The characters are rendered in raised relief within the annular field, framed by a plain inner rim surrounding the square hole and an outer rim at the coin's periphery. The coin exhibits heavy iron corrosion and surface encrustation consistent with its age and ferrous composition. |

| Reverse description | Reverse is uniface, presenting a plain, unadorned field with no inscriptions, devices, or rim decoration other than the central square perforation and outer rim. The surface is heavily corroded with iron oxide accretions across the entire face, consistent with the coin's iron composition and burial history. |
