Obverse description Cast brass cash coin featuring a central square perforation surrounded by four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu), arranged in the traditional cruciform reading order: 宣 (top), 統 (bottom), 通 (right), 寶 (left), forming the reign-title legend 宣統通寶 (Xuantong Tongbao). The characters are bold and well-defined in relief against a flat inner field, with plain inner and outer rims framing the legends. The overall style reflects the standard imperial cash coin format of the late Qing dynasty.
