Reverse description Plain reverse field with a central square perforation surrounded by a raised inner rim and an outer raised border. A single Chinese ideogram 工 (Gong) appears below the square hole in regular script, denoting the Ministry of Public Works as the supervising casting authority. The remainder of the reverse field is unadorned, consistent with standard Southern Ming cash coinage practice.
