Reverse description Plain field bearing the mint name in Manchu script, divided vertically by the central square perforation, with the two syllables reading top to bottom on either side of the hole. A crescent-shaped mark appears above the square hole, serving as a die variety identifier. The Manchu inscription denotes the Board of Revenue Mint (Boo-joo) in Beijing. The reverse field is otherwise unadorned, with a broad raised rim surrounding the coin.
