| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central square perforation surrounded by a raised rim, with a Sogdian inscription encircling the hole within the inner field. The legend is arranged around all four sides of the central aperture, rendered in the distinctive Sogdian script characteristic of early medieval Transoxiana coinage. The flat, unraised field beyond the inscription leads to a plain outer rim. The casting is typical of the cash-type coinage produced in the Vakhsh Valley during the late Hephthalite and early Islamic transition period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Plain flat field featuring a central square perforation flanked by tamgha symbols positioned above and below the hole, serving as dynastic or tribal ownership marks. A Nestorian cross motif appears to the left and right of the square aperture, reflecting the syncretic religious influences present in the Vakhsh Valley during the 7th–8th centuries. The design elements are lightly cast and show the characteristic shallow relief of this regional coinage tradition. The outer rim is plain and undecorated. |
