The characters are rendered in bold, well-defined strokes characteristic of the Western Xia casting tradition. The field between the central rim and the outer border is plain, and the coin is encircled by a raised outer rim. The surface exhibits heavy iron oxidation and encrustation consistent with the coin's age and ferrous composition. |
