| Reverse description | Plain reverse field with a raised inner square rim surrounding the central square perforation and a raised outer rim at the coin's periphery, both typical of Northern Song Dynasty cast cash coinage. The field between the inner and outer rims is devoid of any inscription, mint mark, or decorative device. The surface presents a dark brown patina with areas of olive and green oxidation consistent with prolonged burial or circulation. The casting quality is consistent with standard Song government mint production. |
