The Tianqing reign period (1111–1120) belongs to Emperor Tianzuo, the last ruler of the Liao dynasty, who spent much of it losing territory to the Jurchen Jin forces pressing from the north and east. The dynasty collapsed entirely in 1125, meaning these coins circulated for barely a decade before the issuing state ceased to exist. Production likely wound down well before the official end of the reign as Liao administrative infrastructure disintegrated under military pressure.
