Additional information

Thiệu Khánh was the reign title of Trần Nghệ Tông's successor, Trần Duệ Tông, who ruled for just two years before dying at the siege of Đồ Bàn in 1377 — leading a disastrous campaign against Champa that decimated the Trần military and accelerated the dynasty's collapse. The coins struck under this title therefore predate that catastrophe by only a few years, issued from a court that had no idea how quickly its fortunes would reverse.
