| Obverse description | Round cast copper cash coin with a central square hole, bearing a four-character reign title legend arranged radially around the perforation in clerical script (lìshū). The four characters 紹慶通寶 (Thiệu Khánh Thông Bảo) are disposed in the traditional top-bottom-right-left reading order, separated by the arms of the square central hole. The characters are rendered in a bold clerical style with pronounced horizontal strokes. The obverse surface shows extensive blue-green patination consistent with prolonged burial, with the raised legends emerging from a flat, unadorned field. A plain raised rim borders the coin. |
