(Translation: Shunzhi Tongbao / Shunzhi (Emperor) Universal currency)
Reverse description Plain cast reverse displaying a single large Chinese character 福 (Fu) positioned above the central square hole, rendered in regular script (kaishu) with bold strokes in raised relief. The character identifies the Fuzhou Mint in Fujian Province as the issuing authority. The field surrounding the character is flat and unadorned, with well-defined inner and outer rims framing the composition. The square perforation is centrally placed and neatly formed. The reverse is otherwise devoid of additional inscription or decorative elements.
