Obverse description Cast bronze cash coin featuring four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) arranged in cruciform reading order: top, bottom, right, left around a central square hole. The legend reads 水官通寳 (Shuiguan Tongbao), with each character occupying one quadrant of the field. The characters are boldly rendered in raised relief, set within a plain inner rim and an outer raised rim. The overall execution is typical of locally cast tribal coinage from the Yunnan-Guizhou region of the late fifteenth to early sixteenth century.
Obverse script Chinese (traditional, regular script)

Reverse description Plain uniface reverse displaying a central square hole surrounded by a broad flat field, bounded by a raised inner rim and outer rim. The surface is entirely undecorated, consistent with the simple casting traditions of regional tribal mint issues. The patina is an even dark green, with minor surface granularity typical of cast bronze coins of this period.
