Obverse description Cast bronze cash coin with a central square hole, surrounded by a plain raised inner rim and a broader outer rim. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged in the four quadrants reading clockwise from top: 清 (Qīng), 寧 (Níng), 通 (Tōng), 寶 (Bǎo), forming the reign-era legend 'Qīngníng Tōngbǎo'. The characters are well-formed and boldly cast, set within a flat, unadorned field. The coin conforms to the standard Northern Song and Liao cash format, with neat rims framing the inscription on both the inner and outer edges.

Reverse description Plain, uniface reverse with a central square hole flanked by raised inner and outer rims. The broad flat field between the rims is entirely blank and unadorned, with no inscription, symbol, or decorative element. The casting surface shows typical Liao dynasty patination consistent with bronze alloy composition.
