| Mô tả mặt trước | Four Chinese characters in clerical script (lishu) are arranged in cruciform fashion around the central square hole, read in the traditional sequence top-bottom-right-left: 乾 (Qian), 元 (Yuan), 重 (Zhong), 寶 (Bao). The boldly cast characters are well-defined with strong relief, each occupying one of the four cardinal positions relative to the central perforation. The coin is framed by a plain inner rim bordering the square hole and a raised outer rim encircling the round flan. The overall design is characteristic of Tang dynasty cast coinage, with broad, evenly spaced strokes typical of official lishu script. |
