Additional information

The Qianlong reign produced more cash coinage than any other in Qing history — a consequence of a reign stretching nearly six decades and an empire managing explosive commercial growth across Central Asian territories absorbed after the Dzungar campaigns of the 1750s. The Jingning mint, designated with the Manchu prefix "Boo," operated under Board of Revenue oversight and was among the more consistent provincial operations of the period.

Hartill 22.324 is distinguished by its Manchu mint mark reading "Jin" on the reverse — a detail that places it within a tightly catalogued subset of the broader Qianlong series.
