Reverse description Plain field featuring a central square perforation surrounded by a raised square frame, flanked horizontally by two Manchu script characters positioned to the left and right of the central aperture. The left character reads 'Boo' and the right reads 'Fu', together identifying the Fuzhou Mint (Boo-fu) located in Fujian province. The Manchu legends are rendered in the flowing, cursive style characteristic of Qing dynasty mint marks. A raised inner rim borders the aperture and a raised outer rim encircles the reverse.
