The characters are boldly cast in moderate relief against a flat inner field, with a raised inner rim surrounding the square hole and a plain outer rim defining the coin's edge. The surfaces display a characteristic blue-grey patina consistent with aged lead alloy, with slight surface granularity typical of cast lead coinage of the Five Dynasties period. |
