| Reverse description | Plain field surrounding the central square hole, bearing a Sogdian tamgha (dynastic or mint mark) positioned to the right of the perforation. The tamgha, of uncertain tribal or workshop attribution, is rendered in low relief and serves as the principal distinguishing feature differentiating this Sogdian imitation from its Tang prototype. The inner and outer rims are plain, and the surface exhibits a green patina typical of long-buried Central Asian bronze coinage. |
