Reverse description Plain field bearing two Manchu script characters symmetrically flanking the central square perforation, one character to the left and one to the right, reading together as 'Boo-guwang' (ᠪᠣᠣ ᡤᡠᠸᠠᠩ), the Manchu designation for the Guangdong mint. The characters are cast in bold raised relief within a plain raised rim, consistent with standard Qing dynasty branch-mint cash coinage. The field is otherwise unornamented, with the square hole forming the compositional centerpiece between the two mint-name syllables.
