Reverse description Plain reverse with a central square perforation, flanked on either side by Manchu script characters forming the mint name. The Manchu legend reads 'Boo-chang' (ᠪᠣᠣ ᠴᠠᠩ), identifying the issuing authority as the Board of Revenue Mint (Hubu) in Beijing. A small raised dot appears above the square hole, serving as the distinguishing variety mark for this particular emission. The field is otherwise unadorned, with a plain raised rim consistent with standard cast cash coinage of the Qing dynasty.
