Reverse description Central square perforation flanked by two Manchu script characters read vertically, one on each side of the hole, giving the mint name Boo-jyi (Board of Revenue mint, Beijing). A crescent symbol appears above the square hole, serving as a mint-mark distinguishing this variety. The reverse field is otherwise plain, bounded by raised inner and outer rims consistent with Qing cast cash production.
