| Obverse description | Cast bronze cash coin of standard round form with a central square perforation. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged in the traditional cross reading order — top, bottom, right, left — around the central hole, reading 大中通寶 (Da Zhong Tong Bao). The characters are bold and well-defined in relief against a flat, unadorned field, with no inner or outer rim decoration beyond the plain raised border. |

| Reverse description | Plain reverse field with a central square perforation surrounded by a smooth, undecorated surface, except for a single Chinese character 浙 (Zhe) positioned above the square hole in raised relief, indicating the Zhejiang provincial mint of issue. The field is otherwise entirely blank, consistent with standard cash coinage practice of the period. |
