| Beschrijving voorzijde | Cast brass cash coin featuring a central square perforation surrounded by a raised inner rim. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged in cruciform fashion around the central hole, reading top, bottom, right, left: 大順通寶 (Da Shun Tong Bao). The characters are boldly rendered within the fields defined by the inner and outer raised rims, with no additional decorative elements. The coin exhibits typical casting texture consistent with mid-17th century Xi dynasty production. |
