| Reverse description | Plain reverse displaying a central square perforation with a raised square border, flanked on either side by Manchu script characters. The two Manchu syllables are positioned to the left and right of the central hole, reading together as 'Boo-i' (寶伊), the Manchu rendering of the Ili mint name. The field is otherwise plain and unadorned, bounded by a raised circular rim. The casting surface shows characteristic granular texture and green patination consistent with prolonged circulation. |
