Obverse description Cast bronze cash coin featuring a central square perforation surrounded by a raised inner rim. Four Chinese characters in regular script (kaishu) are arranged symmetrically in the four cardinal positions around the central hole, reading clockwise: 大 (Da), 康 (Kang), 元 (Yuan), 寶 (Bao), together forming the reign-era inscription 'Dakang Yuanbao'. The characters are separated by the inner square rim and set within a plain, unadorned field. A raised outer rim frames the entire design. The coin displays the typical flat, undecorated aesthetic of Liao dynasty cast coinage.

Reverse description Plain, uninscribed reverse with a central square perforation flanked by raised inner and outer rims. The field between the rims is entirely blank, consistent with the uniface struck tradition of Liao dynasty cash coinage. The surface displays a characteristic dark patina with areas of green cuprite corrosion typical of aged cast bronze.
